INGRID CHAVEZ . A FLUTTER AND SOME WORDS
EXTENDED LINER NOTES FROM THE ALBUM

There were so many people that helped bring this record to the light of day. Having made the decision to print on recycled paper, I kept the wording on the actual album to a minimum. There were so many people that I wanted to thank for their time and energy so I have decided to thank them here. There was some important information left off the first run which will be corrected in the second run. This has been a learning experience for us, thanks for your patience!

First of all, I want to thank all of you who felt a connection to my first album or any previous work, who welcomed me back to writing with open arms. I didn't know that you were out there. It has been such an amazing journey and I am truly grateful to you all for your love and support. I am so happy to be back. The next album is already underway! Love you all, Ingrid.

Lorenzo Scopelliti: Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with me. It was a long road but we did it, one song at a time. You set this little birdie free... This album is as much yours as it is mine.

Alessandro Mazzitelli: What can I say? I miss those 1:00 AM mad dashes to the gelato shop for a little sugar to get us through the long nights recording and mixing this album. Thank you so much for your dedication to the making of this music.

Stefaniah McGowan: You found me. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in crime putting this album out into the world. You're an angel.

Steve Kurtz: My protector, we go way back. Thank you for always giving me a place to sleep in the city. Mi Casa es su casa.

Jesse Hayes: You have the patience of a saint. Thank you for talking me through the ups and downs of putting out an album after all of these years. Now it's your turn to shine...

El Perdido: I know that we knew each other in another life. From beginning to end, from here to there, kismet day dreamers dreaming of flying. I could live in your inked landscapes.

David Sylvian: Thank you for your encouragement and support from the beginning of the project to the end. No one knows me better than you. It was you who made sure all of the mixes were right when I needed a second set of ears. You are forever in my heart.

A special thank you to all of the wonderful musicians who brought the songs to life with their beautiful playing: Valter Rosa, Riccardo Barbera, Edmondo Romano, Fabio Linoti, Davide Baglietto, Gianpiero Lo Bello, Joe Dolson, Jacqueline Ultan and Richard Webowenko.

Tinondre Chavez: Old soul, thank you for the all nighters putting the website together. Your work is beautiful.

Marzio Mirabella: Thank you for flying out to the country and putting up with the vicious mosquitoes. You have a wonderful calm energy and shooting the video with you put this camera shy girl at ease.

David Hurn: Sad song soulmate, thank you for so patiently putting things back into perspective for me when the self doubt sets in. Now, lets make a record! Chirp! Chirp!

Richard Hallmarq: What can I say? It was you who got all of this started. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Pia Zaslowe: Thank you for bearing with me while I had you sit through demos of demos of these songs as I worked them out. BFF.

Chuck Zwicky: Thank you for mastering the By The Water Re-Imagined Maxi Single and contributing a lovely mix yourself.
PC Muñoz, Michael Koppelman, Sir Buck and Rashid Duke, thank you for your wonderful remixes of By The Water.

I would also like to thank Anmorya Nolan and Sara Blythe for helping get the website off the ground in the beginning.

Lisa Anderson: Thank you for your continued support with the website.

Scott Swanson: Thank you for allowing us to film in your little house at the foot of Mount Monadnock, it made for a sweet little video.

I know that I am forgetting someone...I will remember who you are in the middle of the night and amend this pronto I promise!

Allesandro Mazzitelli would like to Thank:
Silvia,  Emanuele Gianeri, (for the rhodes) Maurizio Natoli, (for the tube microphones) Federico "Bandiani" Lagomarsino, (for the studio in Genoa) Villa Zita.

Lorenzo Scopelliti would like to thank:
